At ORNAPRODU, A.C. we believe that technology, knowledge and collaboration can help build a more just, inclusive and sustainable society.
We are a civil society organization committed to social development, capacity building and environmental sustainability.
We use technological tools, analysis methodologies and innovation to better understand problems, organize information, identify opportunities and follow up on initiatives linked to our social purpose.

Each line corresponds to initiatives described on this site. The Observatory remains a project in preparation and does not publish measurements yet.
Building tools for sustainability
The ORNAPRODU Sustainability Observatory is an initiative under development aimed at exploring technological and methodological tools for monitoring variables related to sustainability.
We seek to establish bases to develop and validate methodologies that contribute to generating useful information for decision-making.

What we will use: Field connectivity (LoRaWAN)
Planned industrial-grade LoRaWAN protocol on secure sub-gigahertz frequencies, intended for dense indoor environments, cold rooms and deep basements. Range will depend on site conditions, installation and power. Details to be defined in the 2026 Call for Applications.
What we will use: On-site processing + security
Planned end-to-end encryption and zero-trust design, with Edge Computing where agents would pre-process and validate data at the site before cloud transmission. Interruptions due to power, connectivity or maintenance may occur.
What it will address: Organized records for decisions
Planned auditable telemetry to support accurate decision-making and sustainable monitoring. Integrity and retention mechanisms to be defined in the 2026 Call for Applications. Records support decisions; they do not certify on their own nor guarantee green financing.
What it will address: Documentary support for audits
Planned useful information for CSRD and IFRS S1/S2 audit processes, circular-economy and water-related documentation. It does not replace a professional audit, assessment or certification, and does not constitute legal shielding.
